Hello ‘Bluebird’ friends this is Nicky with you today sharing a sweet winter themed thank you card. It feels good to always have some thank you cards on hand, you never know when you might need one! Here are the Hello Bluebird products that I have used in my project:-
To kick things off I chose some pretty pattern paper for the background panel and die cut using the Deckle Die. I backed this with white craft foam and mounted it to a white A2 panel which in turn was glued to my card base. I die cut the oval twice from white cardstock and using one size larger from the nest I die cut vellum. I used the Hill & Dale die to create the snowy ground the critters are standing on and I used the Winter Birch Scene Die to die cut some white trees.
I ink blended a toning pink background and then glued the trees and ground in place. I stamped the little sentiment, glued the oval to the vellum, backed the oval with dimensional foam tape and adhered to the main background.
Time to stamp and colour the pretty images from Coffee Friends. I used Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa to stamp and here are the Copic colours used:-
Bunny – E42, E41, W3, W2, W0 – G12, G40, C3, C1, E77, E74, E71
Fox – E13, E11, E21, W4, W3, W1 – G00, G000, BG000 R83, RV11
Blushes – R22, R21, R00
I highlighted the images with a white gel pen, die cut with the coordinating dies and then applied them to the little background scene using more dimensional foam tape.
I added snow to the scene using white acrylic paint and a stylus and then die cut the fronds and bow from Holly & Pine and gathered them into a little bunch and glued in place. For the very final touch I added some glittery water droplet style embellishments to the ‘knitted’ background.
This is a super chunky and dimensional card, I hope you enjoyed it and are inspired to create your own. I’ll be back soon with something brand new.
