Hey friends, it’s Christy here with a super sweet card using our Forest Fawns stamp set. I think these darling deer work great for any occasion, but especially for a love-themed card, like an anniversary or Valentine’s Day. I colored them and a few of the accessory images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Then I watercolored a simple background using Speckled Egg and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Inks. I die cut the Gallery Frame #2 — one of my favorite dies of all time — out of some patterned paper. I popped that up with foam tape over the background. Then I tool the “love” die from Gallery Frame #6 and cut that out of some blue cardstock and colored it with Copics to give it an ombre look. The rest of the sentiment I stamped in black in on the panel. I adhered the focal panel and frame to a pink card base, added my images, and a touch of Stardust Stickles to finish things off.

Of course I created a video tutorial so that you can follow along if you’d like! This is also Day 7 of my Valentine Card Series, so if you’ve missed any you can go back and catch them all on the playlist, or find them on my channel, Christy Gets Crafty. Crafty hugs,

Christy
