Hello everyone, Chris here with you today. Do you love Baby cards? I definitely do, so I decided to use these cuties from the Woodland Buddies for today’s card.
I used:
- Word Buddies Woodland
- Clouds: Sweet Dreams
- Birds and moon: Little Star
- Oh Baby Words Die
- Stars: Starry Sky Die
First, I stamped all images on alcohol marker friendly paper and colored them with my alcohol markers. Then I set some highlights with color pencils and a white pen. After this I cut out with the coordination dies. For the background I blended with Distress oxide inks (Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass) and create some stars with a stencil out of my stash. … if you like a softer look you can cover the background with a panel of vellum.
The sentiment “Baby” I cut out twice – to get more dimension. On this card I didn’t need the “whole” sentiment so, I before inking up the stamp just covered up the word I didn’t want.
Now, all I had to do was arrange the pieces and glue them to my card base.
Finally, add a few stars and you’re done.
Thank you for stopping by and happy craft time!
Chris
