Hello everyone, Anja here with you today. I needed a card for a birthday boy so I pulled out the adorable Portrait Pals stamp set and went with a masculine color palette.
First, I cut and scored a standard A2 card base from white cardstock. I trimmed down the green grid patterned paper to be slightly smaller and adhered it to the card base.
Next, I stamped the critters and leaves in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out.
To create seperate little scenes, I die cut two white polaroid frames using the Photo Stack Die set. I backed the openings with navy blue dotted paper and tucked the images inside the frames. I layered the smaller polaroid on top of the larger one and adhered both at an opposite angle.
For the birthday sentiment, I combined a stamped and heat embossed text with the scripty Happy Birthday Words Die. I stamped the word ‘happy’ from the Balloon Buddies set in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. The word ‘birthday’ was cut three times from navy cardstock and stacked to make it more sturdy. Finally, I adhered the sentiments to the bottom of the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have an awesome day!
Anja
