Hello! This is Nicky with you today sharing a seasonal card as we approach Valentine’s Day but which in fact would work year round. Here are the products used in this project:-
I used some mini gingham cardstock from my stash to create an A2 panel. I used the Paper Hugs Die to die cut the oversized sentiment and then used it 3 more times using white then finally a toning pink cardstock and glued the letters in stacks. I applied the gingham panel to a white panel and then began to glue the letters back into position through the openings for a bold yet soft background that doesn’t detract from the mini scene I was about to create below it.
I stamped the images I was going to be using from Big Hugs Woodland using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa. I coloured the images using the following Copic markers:-
Raccoon – W6, W5, W4, W2, W0
Fox – E13, E11, E21, C3, C1, C0
Deer – E55, E42, E41
Bunny – E42, E41, E40
Blushes – R22, R21, R20, R000
Blooms – BV13, BV17, YR07
Leaves – G24, G46, YG11
Everything was die cut and most elements were added with foam tape until it came time to tucking in some greenery here and there which I did with glue. I applied a few stamped and die cut hearts together with some mini clear sparkling sequins floating above them for a finishing touch.
Thank you for joining me on the Hello Bluebird blog today, I will be back soon with a new project to share. Happy crafting!
Nicky
