Hello friends! I’m back on the blog with another Valentine themed project. I combined the cuties from Pig Out and the mailbox from Dear Santa to create this fun and punny card.

To begin, I stamped the piggies from Pig Out and the mailbox and letters from Dear Santa and colored with Copic markers. I then added some highlights using a white gel pen, then die cut the images with the Pig Out Dies and Dear Santa Dies.

Next, I cut a piece of striped patterned paper, measuring 4 1/2 X 6″. I then cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock to 4 X 5 1/2″, and lightly inked the background with Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide inks. I then placed a heart stencil over the background and sponged on some Salvaged Patina ink. I splattered some Salvaged Patina ink, thinned with water, onto the stenciled background to create a bit on interest, then attached it to the striped patterned paper.

I attached the stamped images to my card, using foam tape on some for dimension. Next, I created the fun sentiment. Using the Charlie Alpha Die, I die cut the word ‘HOGS’ from both white and bright pink cardstock. I layered the pink letters on top of the white letters, just slightly offset, and attached them to my card. Lastly, I white heat embossed the sentiments onto black cardstock strips from the sets Dear Santa (sending) and Spring Script Stamp (& kisses) to complete my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by! see you next time, friends!
