Today I’m continuing my tradition of sharing a card that’s inspired by the Pantone Colour of the Year. This year it’s Viva Magenta. Described by Pantone as ‘brave and fearless…an animated red that revels in pure joy, encouraging experimentation and self expression without restraint.’

I was also inspired by a card I made last year, using the Balloon Buddies stamp set. I loved this design so I decided to use this layout again.

As I don’t have the exact shade for the Pantone colour of the year, I chose a selection of pink and red inks to stamp the flowers from the Bouquet Buddies stamp set. I stamped the foliage with two green inks. Then I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out.

I stamped the cat from the set, colouring with copics and die cutting with the coordinating die.

On a mini slimline card base, I layered some patterned paper then added the floral bouquet.

I adhered some strips of coloured card stock, then stamped a sentiment from Typed Everyday.

I added the cat with foam tape, then some jewel embellishments on the bouquet for sparkle.
