Hello friends this is Nicky with you today and I’m sharing my final Christmas card project for 2022. Holiday cards are my absolute favourite to make and I’m going to miss making more until later next year ….. especially with Hello Bluebird’s amazing stamps and dies to play with. Read on for all the details.
I used the following Hello Bluebird products for this project and you can click the links below to go directly to the product page for each item:-
Merry Makers Coordinating Dies
I kicked things off by ink blending a white panel using Distress Oxide Inks in Seedless Preserves and Villainous Potion making sure to fade away to nothing towards the bottom which would form my snow covered ground. Once the ink was dry I stamped the sentiment and snowflakes from Holiday Flurries and heat embossed in white and I adhered this 5 1/2 inch panel to a 5 3/4 inch white panel.
I used the outer frame only from the Gallery Frame #7 Die, cutting it from white cardstock which I backed with foam tape and applied to the background panel.
I stamped the images that I needed from Merry Makers and coloured the images with Copic markers. Here are the combinations used:-
Bear – E44, E43, E42, E41
Reindeer – E44, E55, E42, E41,
Bunny – E44, E43, E42, E41, E40
Blushes – RV13, RV21, RV10
Red – RV69, R39, R29
Pink – RV17, RV06, RV04
White – C3, C1, C0, C00
I die cut the images, highlighted some areas and decorated scarves with a white gel pen then applied to the scene using dimensional foam tape. The centre image is on regular foam tape and the other two images on extra thick foam tape to build depth.
Last but not least I added several sparkling clear sequins around the cute animals for some festive twinkle!
Thank you for stopping by the blog today but before you leave I’d like to extend to you my warmest and best wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
Nicky
