Hello everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Now that we are nearing the busiest time of year, I have a quick and easy card idea to share if you still need to make a few more Christmas cards.

Here are the Hello Bluebird supplies you will need to complete this design:

Other supplies needed: Copic Markers, Copic friendly paper, kraft card stock, watercolor paper or Bristol smooth card stock, foam adhesive, and sequins.

I created the watercolored background by using the ink smooshing technique. I used a combo of Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks to get this pretty blue mix. I then splattered the panel with white paint.

I then die cut the greeting right into the background panel. I adhered with foam squares overtop a kraft card base which measures 5.5 inches square. I added my Copic colored snowman to the bottom left corner of the card. Next I adhered the die cut snowflakes in the open spaces remaining.

This card really came together quite quickly and I think could easily be mass produced since the Copic coloring required is minimal…. that’s usually the most time consuming part for me. It also would be fun to do the background in different colors to make a set of these cards. I hope you’ll give this design idea a try. Happy crafting!
