Hello and welcome to the Hello Bluebird Stamps blog, this is Nicky with you today sharing a new card using ever popular Frosty Littles stamp set. Read on for all the details.
Here’s what I used:-
First of all I used the Gallery die and Blurry Flurries patterned paper from Whimsy Stamps to create the background squares. I then used the same die and 110lb cover weight white cardstock to create the frame. I backed the frame with dimensional foam tape and adhered it to my card base and glued the little background panels through each opening. I used the leftover white negative cuts and the Hill & Dale die to create the snowy ground and glued those pieces in place too.
I stamped the images I’d be using from Frosty Littles using black ink and coloured the images using the following Copic marker combinations:-
Snowmen – C3, C1, C0, C00, B000, YR07
Blushes/Pink – RV23, R11, R000
Black – T6, T5, T4, T3, T2
Green – BG34
Trees – C3, C1, C0, C00, B000
I highlighted areas and added designs to scarves using a white gel pen then die cut and applied to each little square using dimensional foam tape forming a mini scene in each.
Time to pull out the glitter! I used Stickles glitter in ‘Diamond’ and glittered the trees and the star the one snowman is holding, then I completed the card by stamping the sentiment from Typed Christmas and applying the sentiment strip with more foam tape.
Thank you for coming to read the blog today, I hope my project inspires your own Holiday card creations to share with your loved ones.
