Hello friends, it’s Christy here with you today to share a sweet fall card using our adorable new Autumn Days stamp set. For this card, I featured one the girls, plus all of the critters. I also stamped the tree three times to create a little forest, and included an extra pumpkin and some falling leaves. I colored all the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.
For the background, I used a cloud stencil to create a sky with Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Inks. Then I used the Grassy Knoll dies to create two layers of hills. I blended those with Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide. Then I added some copper colored splatters using metallic watercolors. I stamped a greeting at the top of the scene, and adhered the background to a cream card base. To finish things off I used a bit of Stardust Stickles for a bit of extra shine.
I also created a video tutorial for you, including the whole process of creating this card, start to finish. If you’d like to know which Copic combinations I used, those will be shown clearly in the video tutorial as well. You can check it out by clicking the thumbnail below, or find it on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. I really hope you enjoy it! I can’t wait to use the other girl on another card.
Thanks so much for watching!
Crafty hugs,
Christy
