Hello everyone this is Nicky with you today sharing a card using the adorable Dear Santa stamp set from the recent Holiday release.  Please read on for all the details.

Here are the Hello Bluebird Stamps products that I used in the making of this card:-

Dear Santa Stamps

Dear Santa Dies

Winter Woods Overlay Die

Frosty Flakes Die

I ink blended an A2 panel of which cardstock using Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink, fading it away to nothing towards the bottom end.   I then used the Winter Woods die to die cut a second panel of white cardstock.   This I backed with dimensional foam tape and adhered to the background.  I set this to one side.

I stamped the Dear Santa images using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa and coloured the images with the following Copic Markers:-

Mailbox – T7, T6, T5, T4, T3, T1, R39, R29, R27, E87, E44, E43, E42

Bluebird – BG49, BG34, G00, G0000, R000

Mouse – E44, E43, E42, E0000, W2, W1, W0

Kitten – E21, E51, E50, E0000, W3, W1, W0

Puppy – W4, W3, W1, W0, C5, C3, C1, C00

Blushes – RV14, RV42, R11, R000

I die cut the images and adhered them to the scene using dimensional foam tape.

At this time of year I always have a bunch of the Frosty Flakes die cut and ready to go on many of  my Holiday cards and so I grabbed a few of those and adhered them with glue.

To finish the card I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in white, I glittered the snow and then I used a metallic gelly roll pen to dot in ice crystals throughout the background, when the card is handled it is a really beautiful affect.
