Hello friends! I’m excited to be back on the blog sharing a project using the newly released, Merry Carolers Stamp set, from the Holiday release. This adorable set features the sweetest caroling critters spreading some holiday cheer!

To begin, I stamped the images from Merry Carolers, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Merry Carolers Dies.

I began with creating the card. First, I die cut Bristol smooth cardstock using the Winter Birch Scene Die. I lightly inked the snow with Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide, then with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to mute it a bit. The birch trees were colored with Copic markers (E44, E43, E42, E41). I then pieced it all together on top of a panel of Bristol smooth card stock ink blended with Tumbled Glass, Evergreen Bough, Pine Needles, and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. I splattered the background with white acrylic paint, thinned with water. I added some larger white dots of acrylic paint onto both the background and colored images using a stylus.

I arranged the images onto the card, attaching them with foam tape for dimension. Next, I stamped the sentiment onto a white cardstock strip with red ink. I then die cut the ‘Falala’ sentiment from red glittered cardstock, then white cardstock, using the Christmas Words #1 Dies. I layered the red glittered sentiment onto the white, just slightly offset, and attached to finish up my card.

I also created a coordinating tag using the Snow Globe Builder Die. I die cut the background, frame, and snowy hill from white Bristol cardstock. The background was ink blended with Tumbled Glass, Evergreen Bough, Pine Needles, and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. I splattered the background with white acrylic paint, thinned with water, then added some larger dots (to both background and colored images) using a stylus. I then glued the white frame piece on top and attached the snowy hill. I die cut the snow globe base from red cardstock, then white heat embossed the sentiment and attached. The images were then attached to the tag using foam tape for dimension. Lastly, I added red and white bakers twine to the back of the tag and covered it with another die cut snow globe to add stability and cover the twine.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you are loving the Holiday release as much as I am!
