Hello Crafty Friends! I am sharing a spooky cute Halloween card today featuring some of the cutest Halloween stamps and dies from Hello Bluebird. Halloween is just around the corner, and spooky season just happens to be my most favorite time of the year! It is so inspiring to see all the cute festive little ghosts, pumpkins, and ghouls everywhere. I hope to inspire you to create something spooky and fun for all your ghoul friends this year!
Today’s Card Features the following Products :
I start off my card by cutting a large square card base using the largest square die from the Nesting Square Dies out of a light grey cardstock. I then ink blend my grey square base using Distress Oxide ink in Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot. I then use the Full Moon Scene Die and cut it out from Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I ink blended the tree portion of the die cut using Distress Ink in VIntage Photo, Walnut Stain, and Black soot. The Ground portion of the die is ink blended using Mowed Lawn, and Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink. I then splattered it with water, and Walnut Stain droplets for texture. I also used a white color pencil to add some highlights to my creepy tree. To give my background some fun movement, I die cut a spooky sky scene using the Ocean Overlay Die from bristol smooth cardstock. I inked the entire piece using Black Soot Distress Ink. For my giant full moon, I inked it using ” Pumice Stone and Weathered Wood Distress Oxide ink. I also did some Water splattered and ink splatter to give it simple texture.
I die cut my little ghosts using the Ghostly Night Dies from watercolor paper and used Inktense Pencils to create some simple shading on my ghosts and cute candy corn and pumpkin.
I Stamped out my cute racoon reading ghost stories and his pumpkin stool from the “Halloween Party” Stamps with “Antique Linen” and colored them using Inktense Pencils. I cut them out using its corresponding dies.
I cut out some speech bubbles using the Word Bubbles Die. I stamped out some of the sayings from the stamp set into the word bubbles and it gives this card such a fun comic book feel. After positioning everything, I adhered everything using a combination of double sided tape, Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue, and foam tape.
That concludes my card make inspiration of the day! Thank you so much for joining me and helping me celebrate my favorite Holiday! Happy Crafting and Happy Halloween!
