Hello and welcome to the Hello Bluebird Stamps blog.  This is Nicky with you today from the Design Team sharing a card created using the adorable Life Is But A Dream stamp set.

Here are the products used in the making of this card:-

Life Is But A Dream Stamps

Life Is But A Dream Dies

North Fork Slimline Scene Die

Nesting A7 Die

Nesting Oval Die

I created 3 panels using the 3 largest sizes from the Nesting A7 die, 2 in white, one in blue.  I applied the blue panel directly to the white panel and set it to one side.

With the smaller white panel I die cut an oval opening using the Nesting Oval Die.

I also die cut a slimline panel using the North Fork Slimline Scene Die and I utilised some of the die cuts created to use as the background land and trees which I ink blended.  I took a white panel and ink blended the water using three shades of Distress Oxide Ink, then glued the land and trees in place and I kept holding the oval opening over the top to make sure everything was framed perfectly.   Once I was happy I backed the oval frame panel with foam tape and applied it.

I stamped the images I’d be using from the Life Is But A Dream stamp set and coloured the images with the following Copic marker combinations:-

Canoe – G28, G19, G07, YG06

Bear – E44, E43, E42, E41

Hat – C3, C1, C00, R29, R08

Fox – E37, E15, E13

Blushes – R21, R20, R00, R000

A white gel pen created some highlights and then the image was die cut and applied to the background with dimensional foam tape.

To complete the scene I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set on to a strip of cardstock the same as the blue used in the main panels and also applied it with foam tape.   Card complete!

I really appreciate you coming to read about this card today, I will be back again very soon with some new inspiration for you.
