Sea Friends Grid Card with Leanne

Waving hello to you all! I’m back sharing another card featuring stamps from the August Release. It’s no surprise that the Sea Friends stamp set has been so popular. I think almost every Hello Bluebird fan has been hoping for a Mermaid stamp set to be released. It certainly does not disappoint!

I’ve made a grid style slimline card using some of those cute images from Sea Friends along with a few from Sea Life. The background is a blend of Salvaged Patina and Unchartered Mariner Distress Oxide Inks. I used the Uncharted Mariner color to stamp the schooling fish silhouettes right onto the background in random spots. Next I added the die cut frame piece with foam adhesive. This frame is part of the Gallery Frame #5 Die.

I Copic colored several images from Sea Friends and Sea Life. I didn’t have the scene completely planned out so I colored more than I needed. Some didn’t make it onto the card and that’s ok. I’ll have them colored for the next card. After die cutting all the images, I played around with placement inside each little square until I had a pleasing layout. I used foam adhesive to add them permanently.

I picked out 3 puns from Sea Sentiments to add to make this an encouragment card. Lastly to complete the card, I added some Sea Breeze Nuvo Jewel Drops in a few spots.
