Hello friends! I’m back on the blog with a fun shaker card featuring the newly released set, Cake Time. I absolutely adore shaker cards! They are surprisingly easy to create and always so much fun to give!

To begin, I stamped the images from Cake Time, colored with Copic markers, and die cut them with the Cake Time Dies. Next, I die cut a pink square frame using the Gallery Frame #7 Die. I then cut a piece of acetate to fit and glued it to the back side of the frame.

Next, I cut a piece of white Bristol smooth cardstock approximately 5 1/4 X 5 1/4″, then splattered the background with some Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink thinned with water. Once it dried, I stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Script Stamp set in black ink onto the pink splattered background. I sprinkled some fun clay confetti, along with some small clear sequins onto the background, then attached the pink frame with foam tape to seal up the shaker.

Lastly, I attached the colored images on top of the shaker, using foam tape on some for dimension, then attached the shaker to a white square card base to complete my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you are inspired to try making a shaker card! Hugs!
