Hello friends! I’m back with another card for July’s Challenge! For my project, I created a fun beach themed card, featuring one of my all time favorite sets, Beach Babes, taking inspiration from both the summer theme and color palette.

To begin, I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut the images from the following sets:
Beach Babes/ Coordinating Dies
Hippos On Holiday/ Coordinating Dies
Next, I die cut the frame and sand borders from Bristol smooth cardstock using the Ocean Waves Scene Horizontal Die. I then cut a 3 1/2 X 8 1/2″ panel of Bristol cardstock, ink blending the top with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. I then taped off the panel with washi tape and blended Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass DO to create the water line. Next, I inked the sandy wavy borders with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo DO’s and attached both the white frame and sandy borders to the background.

Next, I arranged the colored images onto my card, attaching some with foam tape for dimension. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from Beach Babes in black ink, then die cut the word “BEACH” from kraft cardstock using the Jane Small Alpha Die to complete my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this inspired you to participate in July’s Summer Challenge! Happy crafting!
Tammy, I always love your cards!!!
