Happy Tuesday crafty friends, today I’m back with a colorful square card. For this little project I was inspired by the current mood board for the July’s summer challenge from Hello Bluebird. The Challenge runs from July 2nd to 22rd. More information can be found HERE

I used:

I started with stamping all images on alcohol marker friendly paper and colored them with alcohol markers. Cut out with the coordinating dies  – and cut out twice for more dimension. I also colored up the letters with the mood board colors. For the background I blended on watercolor based paper with Distress oxide ink (Peacock feathers) – to make it more “lively” I love to add a few splatters of ink and water.

I also cut out the gallery frame twice – one in a soft pink. To finish the card I only had to arranged all pieces on my card base and glued down.  That‘s it.

And here my color inspiration:

Maybe I could inspire you a little and you join the challenge …. don‘t forget #hellobluebirdsummerchallenge that we can find your project.

Thank you for stopping by and I‘m looking forward to your summer creations.

happy crafty time

Chris
