Hello friends, it’s Christy here with a fun, summery card featuring our new Forest Friends stamps. This set is chock full of so many cute critters, it was hard to choose, but I went with foxes and bunnies for this one.  I also added in some flowers and leaves from Big Hugs Woodland and two butterflies from Forest Fawns. I colored them all with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

For the background, I wanted to use the Big Mountain Scene die to depict summer up in the mountains. This die is typically used for winter cards, but you can see that it works beautifully for any season! I cut that out of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock and colored it with Distress Oxide Inks. I used Salvaged Patina for the sky, Shaded Lilac and Pumice Stone for the mountain range, and Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for the grass.

I stamped out “hello sweet friend” from Forest Friends as my sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black Ink, and then stamped the word “hugs” from Big Hugs Woodland in Dusty Concord Distress Oxide Ink and used the matching die to trim that out. Then I adhered all my images with liquid glue and finished off the card with a bit of Stardust Stickles.
