Dear crafty friends. This is Chris with you today, with this little card. Maybe some of you know I love to mix and match stamp sets to create little, cute scenes. I think the pigs are a lot of fun!
For this card I used
- Pig Out stamp set
- Bee Happy stamp set
- Fairy Garden stamp set
- and the letters from Jane Small Alpha die
First of all I stamped and colored all images. They were colored with Copic markers, added some highlights with coloring pencils and a white pen and then die cut out with the matching dies. The puddles I just use the coordinationg die without stamping and used the “mirror-stamping-technique” on them. (If you would like some more information about this technique you can find it here a blog post I made “some” days ago. ) The mirror stamping doesn’t have to be perfect, it’s just a reflection.
For the background I did some blending with Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers) and some brown colors with inks from Pinkfresh. A few splatters of water and ink liven up the background. If you like a softer look you can also use a panel of vellum on top.
For this project I used a colored cardstock for my card base. The last thing to do was to add all my colored images and letters to the card base to complete the little scene.
Hope you like my card and maybe I could inspire you a bit to create your own little scene cards.
Thank you for stopping by – stay healthy.
Chris
