Happy Monday everyone, Anja here and today I’m sharing a winter themed birthday card. I used the sweet images from the Gnome For The Holidays stamp set along with patterned paper and basic shape dies.
First, I started off with a white card base measuring 6″ x 4″. I die cut the snowflake patterned paper with one of the Nesting A7 Dies. I also cut out a window with the largest of the Nesting Half-Circle Dies.
For the background I adhered a piece of dotted paper directly to the card base and die cut a Hill and Dale snow border. I inked the edge with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and attached it at the bottom. To create some dimension, I popped up the snowflake window panel with foam tape.
Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. The Typed Everyday sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a strip of dark grey cardstock. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
Finally, I assembled my little winter scene by adhering the images and sentiment inside the window opening.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have an awesome week!
Anja
