Hello friends, thank you for coming along today to join my on Hello Bluebird’s blog where I’m sharing a card using one of my all time favourite HB stamp sets called Frosty Littles. I have also used the Gallery Frame #6 die in this project together with the Hill & Dale die.
To start things off I chose some patterned cardstock from my stash but you could easily ink blend your own background panel and splash on some snowfall. Next I die cut a white panel of cardstock using the Gallery Frame #6 die. I saved the negative cuts from the 3 cut-outs formed and used the Hill and Dale die to make snowy ground.
I backed the main frame with dimensional foam tape and and applied it to the background panel and then I recessed the snowy ground pieces through the openings and and adhered those pieces with glue.
I stamped my Frosty Littles images and used Copic markers to colour them softly in tones that complimented the background. The coordinating dies were used to die cut the images which I backed with foam tape, decided on a layout and then adhered.
For the snow covered fir trees I just used the die from Frosty Littles for this piece and I decided no to stamp the image first.
To complete the card I stamped the sentiment and then added some dimensional snowflakes that were made using Frosty Flakes die and adhered using just the tiniest amount of foam tape.
I’ll never tire of these sweet little snowmen and hope you enjoyed my card today.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!
Nicky
