Happy Saturday everyone – Chris here with you today – I still don’t have enough Christmas cards so I decided to send the cuties from the North Pole Littles on their way to help me, so that I’m not arriving late to the party!
I used:
- North Pole Littles
- the trees from Slimline Skating Pond Scene die
- the street lantern and the ladder from Merry Mice stamp set
- Big Christmas Greeting stamp
- Star Bright Die
First of all, I stamped all images and colored them with alcohol markers. For little details, like stripes, dots or shadow I used color pencils. For the little forest scene in the background I only used the trees form the Slimline Skating Pond die – cut them out twice to get some dimension. I also colored them with alcohol markers. The sentiment is stamped with red ink and cut out with the coordinating die. I love this big Christmas Greeting!
On a white panel of paper I blended my all time favorite sky with Distress Oxides inks ( Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and a little Faded Jeans). After this I arranged the outline stars on the panel and for a softer look I covered it with a piece of vellum. On the vellum I added some snowflakes with a stencil from my stash and white stencil paste.
After all “cut outs” and coloring I created a little scene with all the images and add it on my white card base. That’s it – so Christmas can come now – I’m ready!
Now I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones.
Stay healthy and creative and have a wonderful season.
Thank you for stopping by and Happy crafty time,
Chris
