Hello friends this is Nicky with you today with a seasonal card that celebrates the beauty of Autumn.   Read on for the full details on how this card was made and what was used.

To create this card I first ink blended an A2 panel of white cardstock using Distress Oxide Ink in my favourite shade of Speckled Egg.   To distress the background a little, I splattered with water and blotted it up then splattered on a little watery  Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide and then the other dots were added with a gel pen.

I took a panel of Copic friendly cardstock and die cut the beautiful new Grateful Frame Die.   I retained the negative cuts from the leaves and acorns and discarded the main negative portion since I wouldn’t be needing that however if you wanted to, you could ink blend that portion and not create a background panel.

I dotted glue all over the reverse of the Grateful Frame die cut and laid it down over my background panel making sure it fit edge to edge before pressing down.

I used Copic markers to  colour  the leaves and acorns.

Leaves –  YG97, YG95, YG93, YG91, Y26

Acorns – E44, E43, E42, YG97, YG95, YG93

I dotted glue on the back of these leaf and acorn portions and using my craft tweezers and carefully recessed them back within outlines of the leaves.  I used a white gel pen to add some interest and texture to them.

I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the panel and used the Gallery Frame #2 Die to die cut a white frame which was applied with foam tape.

The images from Autumn Palette that I was using were stamped on more Copic friendly cardstock and I coloured them with Copic markers.     For the leaf I used the same combination as above and the branch was E44, E43, E42 (one of my go-to combinations for critters as well).    The fox was coloured with E44, E37, E15, E13 and E11.   Grey shading W1, W0.  Cheeks R00, R20.   Apron BG78, BG, 75, BG18, BG57.   Palette E43, E42, W2 with drops of paint in the leaf colours.   Silver tubes of paint on the ground T4, T2, T0, C00.

The images were die cut using the coordinating dies.  Some images were adhered directly to the card background and others adhered with foam tape.   Points were highlighted with a white gel pen and for a finishing touch I adhered 3 water droplet style embellishments.

I appreciate you stopping by to read my post today.    I encourage you to leave a comment or ask a question and I will try and respond as quickly as possible.

Happy crafting!
