I’m sharing a card today with the Sweet Christmas stamp set from the new October release. I love the gingerbread people, house, and all the images to decorate the scene.

I stamped out the images and coloured them with copic markers. I used E50, E51, E43 and E44 for all the gingerbread people. For the house, I used the same colours but added E53 as the image is larger.
The rest of the images are coloured with a rainbow of different markers. I then added white gel pen details.

All the images are die cut with the coordinating dies. I love that the die for the house cuts the door so it can open on a hinge.
On my A2 landscape card base, I blended distress oxide inks in blueprint sketch, dusty concord, picked raspberry and spun sugar. I blended out the colours to white, with some white acrylic paint dots in the sky helping to add a snowy look to the scene.

For the right hand side of the card, I used one of the new Slimline Hill & Dale dies to cut a panel of white card. I stamped a sentiment from the Sweet Christmas stamp set at the top, then adhered this to the card base.
I adhered the house and tree to the card with liquid glue, making sure to add a piece of card behind the door, coloured with the same yellow copic markers as the windows – Y11, Y13 and Y15. I tucked one of the gingerbread men peeking out from the open door.

I decorated the house with some of the candy images, then used foam tape to add the other gingerbread people and images to the card to finish.

Hello. I love all of the colors of this card. Would you be willing to share what colors you used for the purple, pink and blue gumdrops?
Hi Debbie, I didn’t make a note of the gumdrop colours, sorry.
I do have some copic colour swatches on my blog, if you’d like some ideas:: https://mygirllollipop.com/2020/05/22/swatching-copic-markers/
Hope that helps 🙂
