Hello friends! I’m so excited to be on the blog today sharing a fun holiday card using some of my favorite products from the brand new release! My project features the adorable set, Gnome for the Holidays in a circular shape, using the new Nesting Circle Dies. I absolutely love these new dies! The largest die measures 5.25″, so it makes for a nice, large shaped card!

To begin, I stamped the images from Gnome for the Holidays, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Gnome for the Holidays Dies. Then, I added some highlights to the die cut images using a white gel pen. Next, I cut a circle (third from the largest) from Bristol cardstock using the Nesting Circle Dies. I ink blended the background with Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks, then splattered some water and thinned down white acrylic paint onto it to create a snowy effect. I also added some “snow” onto the die cut images to make it look like everything is covered in freshly fallen snow.

Using the new Slimline Hill & Dale Die, I die cut a snowy border from white cardstock. I then use the same nesting circle die to cut the bottom edge of the border and stamped the sentiment along the bottom before attaching it to the inked circle. I then arranged the colored images onto my card and attached, using foam tape on some for dimension. Next, using the largest die from the Nesting Circle Dies, I cut a red border and layered the inked circle onto it. I just love how that deep red border really makes the reds in the card pop! I added some silver glitter snowflakes, using the Frosty Flakes Die, and added white sequins for finishing touches.

Lastly, I attached the card front to a white circular card base. To do this, I folded white cardstock to measure a 5 1/2″ square, placing the largest Nesting Circle Die right over the edge, and running it through my die cutting machine to complete my card!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderfully crafty weekend!
