Happy Monday everyone, Anja here and today I’m sharing a fall-themed card made with the adorable Tree Neighbors stamps. It’s so much fun to add these cute woodland creatures to the large tree.
First, I created a background by ink blending Distress Oxide Inks (Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold, Worn Lipstick, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves) onto a Bristol smooth cardstock panel.
I splattered on diluted ink as well as some moonlight gold paint to add interest.
Next, I die cut a grass border using one of the Grassy Knoll dies and inked it with green Distress Oxides (Shabby Shutters, Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness). Again, I added some ink splatters with a brush.
I stamped the images and sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out. To make the tree fit onto a regular A2 card, I cut off the bottom and layered the grassy border on top. Finally, I assembled the scene by adhering the images with liquid glue and some are popped up using foam tape.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a fabulous week!
Anja
