Welcome back – Chris here with you today with my first Christmas card for this season. I love to mix and match several stamp sets together, so I did on this little project.

For this card I used:

I decided to color the cute critters with Distress inks (I love to use the Distress reinkers)  so I’m going to start to stamp all images on water-color friendly paper. For the background I cut out the wonderful tree from the new scene die. On this tree I used some Distress brown for blending ( tea dye, walnut stain, and vintage photo).

After coloring, cut out the critters – if I have the coordinating dies, I like to cut out the images twice to get more dimension. For the background I blended with several blue Distress oxide inks (tumbled glass, peacock feather, faded jeans) . Then added some “snowflakes” with a stencil from my stash and stencil paste ( in this case I used the white stencil paste from Lawn Fawn). The  “snow hill” was just cut out by hand.

To finish the card I arranged all images and added them on my card base.

Every year Christmas come up suddenly – so, this year my personally challenge: prepare some Christmas cards earlier. We will see what happen. lol.

Thank you so much for stopping by

and Happy crafty time

Chris
