Today I have a card to share using the new Wilderness Adventure stamp set. I created a CAS card with a mini scene for these cute critters.

I used a stitching rectangle die to add some detail to an A2 card panel. I cut a rectangle from a handmade gel printed background to adhere within the stitched rectangle space.

Using the Hill & Dale die set, I cut two hills from a dark teal cardstock and added those to the scene.

I stamped and copic coloured images from the Wilderness Adventure stamp set. The bear is coloured with E70 markers and the wolf with C markers. I stamped the trees with a teal ink, to match the hills, and cut out all the images with the coordinating dies.

There are some stars in the Wilderness Adventure stamp set, which I embossed in gold on the background. I then arranged and adhered all the images onto the card.

My top tip for CAS scene cards is to place some images off the edges of the scene, breaking out into the white space. This brings the two distinct areas of the card together and adds a little fun too. As well as placing die cut images outside the scene, I also stamped some footprints from the stamp set on the panel behind the bear.

To finish my card, I stamped and die cut sentiments from the Big Greetings stamp set. I used the same dark teal ink for the large ‘hi’ word, to coordinate with the other teal elements on the card. I then adhered the panel onto my card base.

Thanks for joining me today,
Gemma
