Hi everyone, Anja here with you today sharing a spooky cute Halloween card made with the Boo Crew stamps. The kids in their little costumes and the puppy are just adorable!
I started off with a white A2 card base and cut down another piece of Neenah Smooth Solar White 110lb cardstock to the same size. I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides covering about the half of the panel and letting it fade into white. I used Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet and a bit of Black Soot applying it slightly at an angle. I let it dry and added ink splatters with a small paint brush.
Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies. I adhered them to the bottom of the ink blended background.
For the sentiment, I combined a die cut word with a heat embossed text. I used the ‘hello’ word die included in the Gallery Frame #1 set and cut it twice from green and once from black cardstock. I stacked the die cuts on top of each other and adhered them with liquid glue. To create the look of a shadow, I slightly shifted the bottom black die cut.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment from the Boo Crew set in VersaMark Ink onto a black cardstock strip and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
Anja
Anja, this card is just adorable. I love the way you used the distress ink darker to lighter and what a great idea how to use the HELLO die cut also. Thank you for sharing this lovely creation.
