Today I’m sharing a card using products from the September 2021 release – Tree Neighbors, Big Greetings and Gallery Frame #7.

I’ve been enjoying creating square cards for a while now, so I was very pleased to see this format featured in the September release from Hello Bluebird. The Gallery Frame #7 die is 5.25 inches square, and cards made with this die set will fit perfectly in a 5.5 inch envelope.
The Tree Neighbors stamp set works well with this square format, allowing the focus to be on just a portion of the large tree in this set.

I stamped and copic coloured images from the Tree Neighbors stamp set and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I used some patterned paper for the background, layering on my 5.25 inches square card base. I then added the tree, followed by a white die cut frame from the Gallery Frame #7 die set.

I arranged the critters on the tree and secured with glue and foam tape. There are different critters that fit in the holes in the tree. I also love that the opossum tail can be added as a layer on top, so it looks like it’s wrapped around the branch.
To finish, I stamped a sentiment from the new Big Greetings stamp set on the background. I then stamped and die cut one of the big greetings to go underneath. I added some extra die cut layers behind for dimension.

Happy crafting,
Gemma
