Hello! Happy National Pride day! I created a fun trio of rainbow cards to celebrate Pride month and our LGTBQIA+ community and friends!

Let’s Celebrate YOU

To begin, I stenciled the background with a fun confetti stencil using a variety of rainbow colored Distress Oxide. Next, I cut strips of colored cardstock and arranged them diagonally, then die cut YOU using the Make Me Smile Words Die. I cut it again from black cardstock and layered the rainbow letters over it, slightly offset to create a shadow. I then colored the sweet image from Pig Out, die cut it with the coordinating dies, and attached it to my card using foam tape. Lastly, I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Typed Everyday Stamp onto a strip of black cardstock and attached my card front to a white A2 card base to complete it!

Rainbow Friends

To create this mini slimline card, I began by cutting Bristol cardstock to 3 1/2 X 6″, then ink blended the sky with Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks. I cut a grassy border using the Grassy Knoll Die and ink blended it with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks. Next, I die cut a rainbow and clouds using the Rainbow Sky Die, attaching to my card with foam tape for dimension. The sweet friend trio was stamped from the Pig Out Stamp, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. To complete my card, I white heat embossed a sentiment from the Garden Friends Stamp onto a black strip of cardstock.

Rainbow Parade

The cuties from Party Parade are celebrating Pride in this fun slimline card! To begin, I cut Bristol cardstock to 3 1/2 X 8 1/2″. I created an ink blended rainbow background using Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide inks. I then splattered some water onto the background to create some interest. I cut a thin strip of gray cardstock and lightly blended the bottom with Black Soot Distress ink to darken it up a bit, then splattered some black acrylic paint, thinned with water, before attaching it to the bottom of the inked background.

Next, I stamped out the critters from Party Parade, colored with Copic markers, die cut with the Coordinating Dies, and arranged them onto my card, attaching with foam tape for dimension. The bold “Celebrate” sentiment was created using the Charlie Alpha Die. Lastly, I added some fun iridescent star jewels and music notes for the finishing touch!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my Rainbow card trio! Wishing you a wonderful week!
