Hello everyone, Chris here with you today. These cute little critters from the new release just stole my heart and there are many more cuties to work with.

I used:

I started by stamping all the images I wanted to use on this card on alcohol marker friendly cardstock.  After the coloring was done, I cut everything out using the coordinating dies. Then I did the background. It is a quite simple background. I did some easy ink blending with Distress oxide inks Peacock Feathers and my new favorite color Salvaged Patina.

Then I cut out the word ‘YOU’ twice  – one in white and one in black for the shadow behind the letters.  After that I glued down the big letters. In order to add the critters to the scene behind the big letters I made a small cut with a craft knife on the top of the ‘YOU’.   Also, I stamped parts of the sentiment on my background. Now all that was left to do was assemble the card (the hardest part is moving around the pieces until I feel it looks good to me).  Then finally I adhered all images on my card base with foam tape and to give this card more contrast I glued down a little black border on each side of the card.

I hope I inspired you a just a little.

Thank you for stopping by and happy crafty time!

Chris
