Hi everyone, Anja here and today I’m sharing a masculine birthday card using one of the cuties from the Next Door Gnomes set along with two background stamps that will be re-released as clear stamps in early March. There will be some fun new designs, too!
I started off by stamping the Handmade Plaid Background with light aqua ink onto a white cardstock panel. I also stamped the Old Oak Background in VersaMark Ink on a piece of light grey cardstock and white heat embossed it. From that I die cut the word ‘HAPPY’ using the Happy Birthday Words Die. I die cut it a second time from turquoise cardstock and shifted the letters slightly while adhering them on top of each other. This creates a shadow and makes the word stand out a bit more. The word ‘birthday’ was cut out twice from lime green cardstock and stacked up for more sturdiness since it is quiet delicate.
Next, I stamped the gnome, mushrooms (Storybook Friends) and a small gift box (Deck The Halls) in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images.
Finally, I assembled my card and popped up the images with foam tape.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!
