Hi friends! With the holidays quickly approaching, I wanted to hold onto Fall a little bit longer, so I had to sneak in this sweet card. How darling are these critters meeting up for a coffee date?! For my slimline card design, I used the new set, Coffee Friends. It’s such a fun and versatile set, which can be used for both Fall and Winter cards! Being a huge coffee lover, this will be a set I reach for regularly!

To begin, I stamped the images from Coffee Friends, colored with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, and cut the images with the coordinating Coffee Friends Die.

Next, I cut a piece of smooth Bristol cardstock to 3 1/2 X 8 1/2″, and ink blended the background with Tattered Rose and Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide inks. I then die cut a grassy border using the Grassy Knoll Dies, and ink blended it with Scattered Straw and Wild Honey Distress Oxide inks. I splattered some Wild Honey ink, thinned with water, onto the grassy border for some interest. Using the Gallery Frame #5 Die, I die cut the white scallop 2 times and attached to my inked panel to create a frame for the images.

Next, I stamped the sentiment onto the top middle of my card using black ink. I then then arranged the images onto my card, creating a fun scene, and adhered some with foam tape for dimension. To complete my card, I attached it to a 3 1/2 X 8 1/2″ white card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a fantastic weekend!
Big hugs,
Tammy
