Hello everyone, Anja here today with you sharing a fall themed card using non traditional colors.
I started off with a white A2 card base and stamped the Old Oak Background onto light grey cardstock using VersaMark Ink. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and cut out a window with a circle die. I trimmed the embossed panel to be a bit smaller than the card base and adhered it with foam tape.
I love creating wreaths around a focal point image. This time, I die cut the leaves included in the Gallery Frame #3 Die set from five different cardstock colors. Although there aren’t such fall leaves in real nature, I find the color scheme quite fitting for this season. I adhered them around the circle window using liquid glue.
Next, I stamped the sweet fox from the Cocoa Party set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with Copics. I used the coordinating die to cut it out. The sentiment was stamped onto a black cardstock strip with VersaMark Ink and I heat embossed it in white.
Finally, I popped up the image with foam tape, put the sentiment strip underneath and added two little enamel hearts.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a cozy day!
Anja
Wow, Anja you really outdid yourself with this creation! I just love how bright the colors are and the leaves as a wreath is a FANTASTIC idea. Your coloring is just amazing and this is one that I have definitely saved to study later and learn from. Everything about this card is just BEAUTIFUL! I love all the details including the black sentiment tag and the hearts. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.
