Today I have a CAS Christmas card to share, featuring the Merry Mice stamp set.

I began by creating a background print with my gel plate and distress oxide inks in the colours speckled egg, peacock feathers and chipped sapphire. I inked the panel then went over the colours with a brayer to blend them together. I took a print using a piece of smooth white card. The gel plate gives lots of texture to the print, with some white specks which give the look of snow.

From the print, I die cut a large circle and adhered it to my card base, trimming away any overlapping pieces.

Next, I die cut a white card sentiment banner, then stamped a greeting from the Christmas is Coming stamp set. I cut another banner from blue glitter card, then layered them together and adhered to my card base.

I stamped and copic coloured some images from the Merry Mice stamp set, die cutting them with the coordinating dies. I adhered the lamp post with liquid glue, then used foam tape to add the mice and the bow for dimension. I also stamped some musical notes directly on the card base, for the carol singing mice.

As this is a Christmas card, I wanted to add some extra sparkle. On the bow and scarves, I added some liquid glue. I covered the bow and one scarf with WOW Eco Sparkles Mahi Mahi glitter. For the other scarf, I added WOW Sparkles Ballet Shoes glitter.

As a final finishing touch, I adhered some Pretty Pink Posh Graphite jewels to the musical notes.

Have a lovely day,
Gemma
