Hi everyone, Anja here and today I’m sharing a fall themed card using the adorable Fall Friends set and the Blowing Leaves Background. I wanted to use the freshly released Distress Oxide Inks Speckled Egg and Crackling Campfire which I think work perfectly for fall. I combined them with Gathered Twigs to create my ink blended background. To finish it off, I added tiny ink splatters with a paint brush. I’m enjoying creating more autumnal cards now and I love the rich warm colours of the season. My card today features the happy squirrels from the Oh Nuts! stamp set, along with the Oak Tree Scene die. I began with the background. I die cut the Oak Tree Scene die from white card. I then ran the die through the machine a couple more times, cutting a piece of green cardstock for the grass and brown woodgrain card for the tree. Hello and happy Wednesday! I’m so happy to be back on the Hello Bluebird blog sharing with you this sweet scene card which features the cute little field mice making a tightrope walk. And yes, I think sometimes all you need is a good company, especially in these crazy times.
