Hello everyone! Leanne here and I have a sweet slimline card to share today that combines stamped images with die cut shapes. If you are a fan of slimline card trend and like to add some fun layers to your designs, then I can’t recommend the new Gallery Frame #5 die set enough. It’s such a good versatile set that can be used with so many different Hello Bluebird images.

The Gallery Frame #5 die set includes some really cute mushroom and floral shapes. I die cut mine from white card stock and then used a blending brush and Distress Oxide inks to color them. When ink blending color onto small die cut pieces, I place them on a sticky mat to hold them down. I start blending on color at the bottom of the die cut and work upward. I always add some highlight lines to my colored die cuts with a white Gelly Roll 08 pen.

Below is a list of the Distress inks I used for each die cut piece and the background panels.
- Tumbled Glass – sky
- Bundled Sage – grass & flower leaves/stems
- Abandoned Coral – mushroom tops
- Tea Dye – mushroom stems
- Wild Honey – yellow flowers
- Worn Lipstick – pink flowers

The birds, bee, and little worm are from the Garden Party stamp set. I stamped with Gina K Amalgam Obsidian Ink and then colored with Copics.
- blue bird bodies – BG10, BG11, BG13, BG18
- bird belly & face – R20, YR30
- violin – E40, E41, E43, E44
- bee – Y21, Y23, Y26, E31, BG10
- worm – YG61, YG63, YG67
So beautiful! 💜
Lovely…I think I would want to put this in a format that could be framed for a little seasonal decor as there is SOOOO much work put into it. It is just over the top! Would be very cute in little white distressed frames.
Delightful scene on this slimline, the palette is gorgeous.
