Today I’ve got a fun card to share featuring the Next Door Gnomes stamp set and Gallery #5 slimline die. Both these sets are from the fabulous new release.

I began by working on the background, die cutting the Gallery Frame #5 die from white card. In one pass through the die cutting machine, this clever die cuts both the scalloped frame and the inner frame piece. These pieces can be used separately or together so it gives lots of design possibilities.

On the scalloped frame, I blended on distress oxide ink in mowed lawn and added water droplets for detail. I adhered this onto a slimline card base, followed by the white inner frame. I stamped a greeting from the Next Door Gnomes stamp set on the inner frame. I love that these typed greetings fit the frames perfectly.

Next, I cut 3 squares of woodgrain card to fit the frame. To create a wooden fence look, I cut each square into 3 pieces and used a brown copic marker to add a defined edge to each piece. I then adhered these onto the card.

For the grass, I cut some patterned paper with a Grassy Knoll die, cutting 3 pieces to adhere on top of the fence panels.

I stamped and coloured images from the Next Door Gnomes and Garden Party stamp sets, colouring them with copic markers and die cutting with the coordinating dies. I used foam tape or liquid glue to adhere them to the card to finish this fun scene card.

Have a lovely day,
Gemma
