Hello everyone! I’m so happy to be back on the blog and sharing some inspiration from the latest release. I have created a magical slimline card to showcase some of the new sets. I used the Vertical Fairy Glade Scene Die along with sweet images from Fairy Dance.

I Copic colored several of the fairies and cute insects from Fairy Dance to be the focal images of the scene. Below is a list of all the Copic markers I used:
- fairy dresses & bug wings – RV52, RV55, RV17, YR21, YR12, YR18, RV93, RV95, V95
- fairy wings & bug bodies – G40, YG61, YG63, YG67
- fairy hair – E41, E42, E43, E44, E50, YR31, YR24, E35
- fairy skin – E000, E00, E01, E21, R00

I die cut the Fairy Glade Scene from white card stock and then used a blending brush and various Distress Oxide inks to color each piece. The greens are Mowed Lawn and Forest Moss. The pink mushroom top is Seedless Preserves. The mushroom stem is Antique Linen. The orange flower is Ripe Persimmon. The bluebells are Victorian Velvet.

The main background piece is a panel of kraft card stock that I generously splattered with thinned white and green paint. I adhered all the die cut pieces flat to the kraft panel with liquid glue. I then adhered all the Copic colored images with dimensional foam squares so they would be popped up from the background a little. I stamped the greeting right onto the mushroom top. This sentiment is included in the Fairy Dance set. To complete the card, I added highlights to all the inked die cut pieces with a white gel pen. I use the Gelly Roll brand white pens in size 08 for all my highlighting.
Wow super cute!!!
