Hi there! Leanne here and I have a fun birthday card to share. It’s no secret that I love nothing more than building scenes with cute critters. I also love adding big bold greetings and can’t resist a good pun. So today’s card checks off all the creative boxes for me.

This card is A7 size (5″x7″). I started by stenciling a light and airy cloud background. I added a grassy hill to the bottom of the card front that’s been stamped with some of the grass images from Party on the Farm.

I created the bold greeting next. To spell out the word farm-tastic, I used the Oliver Alphabet dies. I used a die from the Birthday Words set for the script word birthday. Once I had the die cut words adhered in place, I stamped the “have a” which is from Sparkles Script.

Next I Copic colored all the images I wanted to use to create the birthday scene. They all come from the Party on the Farm set except the little presents which can be found in Greetings Bear. I choose to go with primary colors to keep this card gender neutral. See the list below for specific Copic colors used

  • reds – R00, R22, R24
  • yellows – Y00, Y11, Y15
  • blues – B21, B24
  • browns – E40, E41, E42, E43, E44
  • flesh tones – E0000, E000, E00, E11, E13
