Today I have a card showcasing the new Little Painters set from Hello Bluebird. This set was offered as a free with purchase and proved very popular. I wanted to show how this set could be used in a non-Easter way.

Rainbows are a very popular symbol at this time of the pandemic so I thought the bunnies could be painting a rainbow.
I began with the background. I added a blend of distress oxides directly on my card base, using worn lipstick and squeezed lemonade. Next, I die cut the After the Rain scene die twice from white card. I add some of the distress oxide inks to the edges of the clouds, then layered a frame and the clouds on my card base.

I stamped a sentiment from the Rainbow Script stamp set on to the top cloud. This set has lots of beautiful sentiments which are perfect for this time.
For the rainbow pieces, I used my copic markers to add colour. I left part of the rainbow white, so it looked as though the Little Painters were in the process of painting the rainbow. I adhered two layers of each of the rainbow pieces for dimension, then added them to the card.

Next, I stamped and coloured images from the Little Painters stamp set. The bunny on the right is holding an easter egg in the stamped image, but I trimmed that away and replaced with a paint palette instead.
I added the images to my scene with foam tape, then used some clear glitter pen on the rainbow and paint to finish.

Stay safe and happy crafting,
Gemma
