Hi Bluebird friends! With St. Patrick’s Day quickly approaching, I thought it would be fun to create a themed card, featuring four leaf clovers, a “Leprechaun” mouse (starring Field Mice), and a bold Kelly green title.

To create my card, I began by ink blending a stitched rectangle with Distress Oxide Inks in Scattered Straw, Twisted Citron, and Mowed Lawn. I splattered a bit of clean water, and then thinned out Mowed Lawn ink with a paintbrush on the background to create some interest.

Next, using the Gallery Frame #3 Die, I cut the frame three times from white cardstock and layered on top of each other. I adhered the stacked frames onto my background and attached it to an A2 card base.

I then stamped my images onto Bristol cardstock, using the following sets: Field Mice/Dies (mice), Spring Gatherings/Dies (clovers), and Merry Mice/Dies (top hat). I colored all images with copic markers, highlighted with a white gel pen, and cut using the coordinating dies.

I die cut my “LUCKY” title from kelly green cardstock three times using the Oliver Alpha Die, stacked on top of each other to create a nice 3D sentiment, and adhered the title to the top of my card. Underneath the “LUCKY” title, I stamped a sentiment from Garden Friends in black ink.

To finish off my card, I arranged the mice and clovers and attached, using foam tape on the mice for dimension.

I can’t wait to give this card to my bestie, because I really am Lucky to have her in my life!

Thanks for stopping by, friends! See you next time!

XO,

Tammy
