Today I have a card to share using the Maverick stamp set and the After the Rain scene die. These sets work perfectly together.

I began with the background. I die cut the After the Rain scene die from white card, then added a blend of blue distress oxide inks to the clouds.

The scene die cuts three pieces for the rainbow but it’s easy to colour them in to get the whole spectrum of colours, using copic markers.

I lightly blended on some tumbled glass distress oxide ink directly onto my card base, then adhered the After the Rain scene die pieces on top.

For the sentiment, I chose two greetings from the Maverick stamp set, stamping them in black ink at the top and bottom on the card.

Next, I stamped and copic coloured some images from the Maverick stamp set. I die cut them with the coordinating dies. I love that the dies for the critters cuts so that their arms can sit over the top of the plane.

I adhered the clouds with liquid glue, trimming away anything overhanging, then added the birds and flying rabbit with foam tape to finish.

Have a lovely day,
Gemma
