Hello! I hope you’re having a great day. Today I’m sharing this box card using this lovely set of fairies in a spring scene, I hope you like it.
For this Box card I used :
-Fairy Garden Stamp
-Field Mice Stamp
-Garden Friends Stamp
-Grassy Knoll Die
This box card is easy to make; I used 2 pieces of A2 (4 1/4″ X 51/2) size card stock for the main structure and a couple of extra pieces of 4 3/4″ X 1 1/4″ each, for the grass insert and grass in the front panel. I scored both panels of the Box card as seen in the picture below and also die cut a circular window in the center of one of the panels.
After scoring both of the panels, I was left with two square areas which I colored with distress Oxide inks as they will be the stage for the scene. After they dried off, I stamped the sentiment on the front panel (the one with the window) using white embossing powder. Adding double sided tape along the smallest flaps in each panel, and folding the pieces on each score, I adhered the panels together side by side and formed the box. Then added the grass insert inside the box in the same way, centering it between both panels and adhering it towards the bottom. This adds dimension to the scene. I also glued on the grass piece in the front panel.
Finally, the images are colored and die cut with their respective companion dies, then adhered to the box card with strong liquid glue.
The card is finished and it can be flattened to fit nicely inside an A2 size envelope.
I hope this card brings you a smile,
Thank you so much for stopping by!
