Hi everyone, Anja here today on the last day of the year (even of the decade) and I’m sharing a treat box with you.
In Germany, we like to hand out little lucky charm gifts on New Year’s Eve. Sweet treats like a marzipan pig are very common and I created a customized box for it.
Of course, I had to use one of the Merry Pigs to decorate it. I colored this cutie with Copics and used the coordinating die to cut it out. I put a little heart (from the Family Photo set) between the piggie’s claws.
I did some measuring and cut out the pieces from patterned paper. To create a window, I die cut a rectangle from the front side and adhered acetate behind it. The green cardstock frame was made with the Gallery Frame #2 Die.
I gold heat embossed the word ‘happy’ (included in the Greetings Bear set) and also die cut the ‘2020’ from gold glitter cardstock using the Charlie Numbers Die.
