Hello everyone! I have a holiday slimline card to share today featuring one of my favorite things from the last release… the Warm Wishes Word die. I have always loved adding a bold greeting to my cards. I’ve put the Warm Wishes die cut front and center on this slimline design and then added a few cute critters and snowflakes.

I started with my slimline card base that measures 3.5″ tall by 8.5″ wide. I die cut a large heart from pink card stock. To darken the edges of the heart, I sponged on some Candied Apple Distress Ink.

I die cut the Warm Wishes from Tonic Studio Welsh Gold Glitter Card. I adhered the heart and greeting to the center of the card front. I wanted to add a sentiment strip overtop. I used one from the Typed Christmas stamp set. It’s white heat embossed onto black card stock.

I die cut a bunch of snowflakes in pink, green, and white using the Frosty Flakes dies. I added them all over the background of the card. I Copic colored the bird, reindeer, and penguins from Family Photo. The pair on the left is part of a larger image, but I just fussy cut off the part of the image I didn’t want to use. Any black lines remaining, I covered up with a white gel pen. I adhered the critters with dimensional foam squares and that completed the card.
