Hello! Happy Monday! here today with you sharing this “Thank You” card and Gift card holder, full of warmth featuring Cocoa Party. I can’t help but giggle at the thought of a sweet big bear wearing a sweater and enjoying a cup of hot cocoa with his friends…nothing cuter than that!
For this card I made a couple of panels using the Old Oak Background Stamp, on Lawn Fawn’s “Dolphin” cardstock and “River Rock” ink. I also covered a third panel with “Tumbled Glass” Distress Oxide ink.
For the shaker panel, I cut one of the wood stamped panels with a Large Stitched Rectangle die and an Outside In Stiched Heart Stackables die, both from Lawn Fawn. I added a piece of transparency to the back of the heart shaped window and added foam tape to the back of the whole panel, around the heart.
Before assembling my card, I stamped the sentiment on the blue panel and then added a white frame I cut from Gallery Frame #3 Die on top.
The base card was decorated with the second wood panel (the one without the heart window) and the blue piece with the frame added. After that, the loose sequins were added to the stamped area of the blue panel and finally the small panel with the window was adhere on top of it.
To finish off, I decorated the card with the images colored with alcohol markers and a Thanks sentiment from Gallery Frame #2 Die.
The Gift Card Holder is made using the remaining heart from the shaker window and the Lawn Fawn’s Diagonal gift card pocket die. I added the pocket to a rectangle (2 1/2″ X 3 3/4″) colored with “Tumbled Glass” Distress Oxide Ink.
Finally, I added a friendly skunk image also from Cocoa Party, a sentiment from Field Mice Stamp, and some sequins to add a little sparkle.
I hope You like these projects I had so much fun making. As always, Thank you for stopping by.
Have a great week and see you soon!
